EQUINADE BLACK-JACK ENAMEL is a high quality, full-gloss show enamel especially formulated to improve the appearance of your horse’s hooves for the show ring.

Recent improvements to the formulation have made the enamel more durable and easy to apply. BLACK-JACK ENAMEL will stay on in damp conditions and now has a higher gloss finish. It is quick drying and can be removed with mineral turpentine.

BLACK-JACK ENAMEL is available in 250ml cans or 500ml cans with a brush attached to the lid.

Suggestion for Best Results

To prepare the hooves prior to applying EQUINADE BLACK-JACK ENAMEL, clip the hair back from the top of the hoof line. This prevents the enamel from getting on the hair and provides a clean line along the hoof edge. Lightly sand the wall of the hoof using a fine grade paper or sanding block. This will provide a smooth surface and give the best possible appearance. Apply BLACK-JACK thickly, starting at the top of the hoof and allowing it to run down, then smoothing it with the brush.

For best results the hoof needs to be dry and clean before applying BLACK-JACK. One coat is generally sufficient. The enamel should be removed using mineral turpentine.
